Hey Everyone!
Today is the day I will start my latest Song of the Week! To start this off right, I want to mention that these songswill only be from video games and not anywhere in the mainstream spectrum. Maybe if I get enough listeners and blog readers I will start to digg into my mainstream collection. So without further of due, I will introduce the following song to all of you!
The song I chose, was Final Fantasy IX's and Nobuo Uematsu's own, Place of Memory. When I first played this game and came to this part of the game, two things really inspired me. The level design and the music; so much that I wanted to become a video game composer and level designer. I love this piece as resting in the name is where it's aura comes through like a shot to your forehead at light speed. The song takes place in the mystical place of Memoria, which is Final Fantasy IX theme. This song may have some strange effect on some people as it actually brings back some memories, whether they be bad or good; and I'll be hard press to see this song do anything strange like that.
I hope you enjoy this week's song of the week! Stayed tuned next Sunday/Monday where I will bring more to the table, with something from Harry Gregson-Williams. Till then, bye all!
Hello,
Jason's the name and gamings my way of life (and you thought I was going to say "the game" at the end of that). I am going to college at the University of Advancing Technology. In this blog, I will be sharing my latest gaming news and events that happen around my school as well as personal updates. I will also be giving you a few songs from the games that I play, because video game music is an unknown art.
So yeah, there's a little glimpse into the future.
